Is Candy AI free? Partly: it’s free to join but not free to use properly. A free account gets you 5 messages in total, 1 custom character and 1 image (NSFW images are blurred), plus episodes 1 and 2 of every Candy Short. Everything beyond that is paid, and the cheapest route is the 12-month plan at $3.99 a month, which includes 100 tokens a month.

Candy AI free: what’s included

• 5 messages in total. It’s a lifetime allowance, not a daily one.
• 1 custom character.
• 1 image, with NSFW images blurred on the free account.
• Candy Shorts episodes 1 and 2. Episode 1 plays without an account; episode 2 needs a free account.

None of that needs a payment. It’s a fair look at the art style and the tone, but it’s a sampler, not a way to hold a real conversation.

What costs money

Everything past those limits. More chat, unblurred NSFW pictures, video, voice calls, live AI cams and Candy Shorts episodes from number 3 onward all sit behind a paid plan or tokens. Voice calls run about 3 tokens a minute, and a Shorts episode costs 12 tokens on a standard series or 30 on one starring a licensed creator.

Is Candy Shorts free?

Partly. Episode 1 plays with no account and episode 2 only needs a free one. One series, Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right, gives 3 free episodes. After that each episode costs tokens, and no subscription unlocks Shorts by itself. The free episodes tease; the explicit scenes arrive in the paid ones. The cheapest way to pay

• 12 months: $3.99 a month, billed $47.88 once a year (-70%).
• 3 months: $8.99 a month, billed $26.97.
• 1 month: $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99 a month.

Each plan adds 100 tokens a month. At Candy’s top-up price of 200 tokens for $20, those 100 tokens are worth about $10, so on the yearly plan the tokens alone cover more than the fee, and they stretch to about 8 paid Shorts episodes. Leftover tokens stay if you cancel.

How to get the most from the free account

1. Start with Candy Shorts. Episode 1 plays without any account, so you can judge the format first.
2. Make the free account for episode 2, and use your 1 custom character as a test of her personality.
3. Save your 5 messages for a real conversation rather than small talk, since you won’t get more on free.
4. Use the 1 image to judge picture quality, remembering that NSFW images are blurred on free.
5. Decide on a plan only after that. The free part answers most “is this for me?” questions.

What about OurDream AI free?

Should you pay?

It depends on what you came for. Try the free account first. If the art style and the stories grab you, watch episodes 1 and 2 of a couple of series before spending anything. If you’d watch more than one standard series a month, the yearly plan’s 100 tokens ($3.99) cost less than the same tokens bought loose at $0.10 each. For scale: a single standard five-episode series costs 36 tokens, about $3.60. The $9.99 first month of the one-month plan includes 100 tokens worth about $10, so even a one-off month covers two series with tokens to spare.
