Candy AI is an AI girlfriend app that puts chat, pictures, video, voice calls, live AI cams and Candy Shorts in one place. You create a custom character, talk to her, and spend tokens on the extras. Chat is the base product; tokens are the meter for nearly everything else.
Is Candy AI safe and legit?
On the points you can verify, yes. The plans page spells out what you pay and what you get, and the numbers in this review come from it as of October 2, 2026. Nothing is hidden behind a “contact us for pricing” wall, and the app does what it says on the box.
Billing and discretion
Charges appear as EverAI, not as an adult site name, which keeps a card or bank statement discreet. You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel under My Profile → Settings → Unsubscribe. Leftover tokens stay in your account afterward. Refunds are narrow, though: only within 24 hours, only for card payments, and only if you’ve used 20 tokens or fewer. Once you start spending tokens, assume the money is gone.

Candy Shorts is the reason to pick Candy over the others. The library holds 175 series of vertical, cliffhanger-driven episodes, each about 1-2 minutes long, and every series gives you two free episodes before tokens kick in. A standard five-episode series costs 36 tokens (about $3.60) to finish, so one month of the plan’s 100 tokens covers about 8 paid episodes.
